It never hurts to say a good word for your player.
Queen Elizabeth II had a strange job. What were her daily duties? It’s hard to say. It’s easier to describe all the things she didn’t do. She never passed laws. She never chose elected leaders. She didn’t voice her opinion.
She did give out a lot of awards, though. Literally hundreds of thousands of them over the course of her seventy-year reign. She once said: People need pats on the back sometimes. It’s a very dingy world otherwise.
Very true.
Nobody needs a pat on the back more than your kids . . . and there’s nobody they’d rather get it from than you. Take an extra beat today to let your kids know what’s special about them. Give them that pat on the back.
